SFDR staat voor Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation. Deze Europese SFDR-richtlijn verplicht financiële marktdeelnemers, zoals pensioenfondsen, informatie te verschaffen over het duurzaamheidsbeleid en transparant te zijn over de uitvoering daarvan.

Het doel van de SFDR is de transparantie over duurzaamheid te vergroten, waardoor het voor eindbeleggers gemakkelijker wordt om te begrijpen hoe duurzaamheid een rol speelt in hun beleggingen en eventueel om beleggingen te vergelijken.
